Think of Digital Focus as a marketing arm for you… the publisher of a local content website(s).  We present a turnkey solution to relieve the resource constraints most national/regional ad agencies operate under, which allows them to consider your site(s) in campaigns for their clients.  And, because we are not an Ad Network you can get value for your investment in content.  Digital Focus provides agencies with better results for their clients and you with revenue that would not normally be available… because most of our accounts represent new dollars you can compete for. 

Digital Focus was founded in 2005.  Our mission is to help Marketers and Agencies access indigenous content sites for their local advertising and marketing campaigns.  Ad agency compensation limits their resources for managing web campaigns, which often leads to the expedient choice rather than the quality publisher of local content.  You are hard to find and require a lot of effort for an ad agency to negotiate, traffic, serve, manage and bill a campaign.  So they often focus on the big national sites and geotarget your market.  We relieve this resource drain on agencies, which opens the opportunity for you to compete for their business.

Our clients are both Ad Agencies and Marketers.  For agencies, their clients tend to be regional marketers, distributor/dealer groups, co-op groups, chain stores and political organizations that operate within a geographic footprint in the US.  For our marketer-direct business, these tend to be businesses that operate within specific regions of the country or want to emphasize specific areas for a given marketing purpose or tactic.

For all of our campaigns each market for a given client is considered a separate campaign.  In addition, all of our campaigns are flighted within specific time periods for ad delivery during the year.  It is imperative that ad funds are spent within the DMA(s) or target markets for which they are intended during the flights that are authorized.  These target area(s) and flight periods will be clearly stated in the Insertion Orders (IOs) you receive from us.

All Digital Focus campaigns are geotargeted by IP Address to the target areas a marketer/agency specifies.  So it is important that you have this capability within your Adserver.  We use the Mediaplex Adserver (MOJO) and will also geotarget the campaigns.  Through the use of geotargeting within both your Adserver and ours we will minimize billing discrepancies and insure that the campaigns are directed to the proper target areas for the marketer/agency.  Delivery outside of the targeted area will not be paid for.

We work with standard Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) ad units.  The vast majority of our campaigns utilize placement sizes from the IAB Universal Package: 300x250, 160x600, 180x150 and 728x90 pixels.  Your website(s) must be able to handle at least one of these placement sizes to be considered in our campaigns.

All of our campaigns with you will be based on delivery measured by the MOJO Adserver.  We will provide you with both ad tags from this system and a login for access so that you can monitor the campaign.  From this login you can print reports and attach to your periodic invoices for each campaign for billing purposes.  It is very important that your Operations Group follow the Traffic Orders we send you for posting our ad tags, as any deviation may result in significant billing discrepancies.

Digital Focus has established a database called TRAFFIK® , which allows us to identify candidate sites based on
the market(s) and target(s) supplied to us by the Marketer or Agency.  It also includes contact information and placement sizes for your site(s), as well as how it may have performed in past campaigns.  It is important that you keep us up to date about significant changes/additions to the sites you publish so that we can include this
information within the TRAFFIK® database.  Updated contact info on personnel changes will also ease communication between our companies.
